Siftware Newsletter September 2007

Siftware Ltd. are very pleased with how successful our first year has been.

We would like to take this opportunity to thank you for your valued support and provide you with a summary of our latest news.

Dear clients and friends,

Siftware Ltd. are very pleased with how successful our first year has been.

We would like to take this opportunity to thank you for your valued support and provide you with a summary of our latest news.

Siftware has grown to be a team of four full-time staff: Darren Beale, Iain Cuthbertson and Mark Carrington are our three developers; with Cathie Ackroyd managing the offices and accounts.

During the past twelve months we have delivered over thirty websites which have ranged from brochureware content management system (CMS) sites right through to bespoke development projects using the PHP5 development framework Symfony on the back-end and 'AJAX ' technologies at the front-end.

During the last year we have become aware that we are at our most productive and happiest when we are working with people like you. We enjoy working behind the scenes while you are able to carefully manage your client relationships.

Our preferred niche in the marketplace is to be the
#1 technical partner for design agencies, development teams, software houses and end users of bespoke internet applications.

We therefore no longer solicit business from end user businesses.

Featured Siftware Service:
Symfony development

Symfony is a PHP5 development framework.

It enables us to build scalable and maintainable websites using the principles of best practice.

Symfony helps us to provide our clients with the very latest in web techniques and tools. The Siftware team are proud to be proficient in these technologies and are being engaged on various projects because of these areas of expertise.

This month Siftware was drafted in at the eleventh hour providing onsite Symfony consultancy. We worked at short notice at a client's offices to help the in-house development team deliver their project on time.

Last month Darren was the guest speaker at Bristol Skillswap . In front of a live audience of senior development personel he walked through the step-by-step building of an application using the Symfony framework . The talk was very well received.

We hope this newsletter finds you and your staff well and look forward to another year of working with you.

Regards,
The Siftware Team
