Web Project Manager: POSITION NOW FILLED

We are looking for an experienced, talented and extremely organised individual to become the project manager for our web development studio.

Your primary task will be to ensure that projects are running through the studio smoothly. It is essential that you are confident and that you have excellent written and verbal communication skills as there will be a good deal of planning, negotiation and delegation to both internal team members and clients.

Tasks will include:
  • Scheduling current and future work and flagging up bottlenecks
  • Delegating work to internal and external developers and ensuring that tasks are completed in a timely manner to meet agreed deadlines
  • Giving clients regular status updates
  • Chasing clients for the assets needed to complete a job
  • Handling client issues and change requests
  • Agreeing budgets and getting project signoff

In addition to the primary project management role you will also be required to assist in certain aspects of the marketing of the business including keeping our website portfolio up-to-date plus various other marketing and communications tasks. We will also need you to manage the launch of a new product in the run up to summer.

Whilst exposure to managing web or creative projects is highly desirable, it is not essential, although proven project management experience is. You should also be very comfortable using software packages such as Excel and Word in order to generate reports and keep track of various budgets.
