sw0p.com holding site launched

October 8, 2008 by bealers

Siftware’s first web application sw0p.com came one step closer to being a reality today when we launched the holding site in the run up to us launching it as a beta service around Christmas time.

sw0p.com will allow individuals to trade their items and skills with other members with no money changing hands. The site will be free for all to use with no limitations.

Behind the scenes we are working hard to finsh the last few major tasks and we’re really looking forard to launching this service in the coming months.

Darren (a.k.a. Bealers by his friends) has been a professional web developer for longer than he'd care to admit and currently runs Siftware. It's not all geekdom, though. When not in front of a computer he enjoys woodworking, the odd bit of windsurfing and spending as much time as possible with his wife and 3 kids. He also tweets as @bealers and hates writing in the third person.

  1. Great idea, look forward to seeing it in action. Anyone who has used Freecycle knows how crazy it can be to deal with for more than a few emails so I can imagine a more organised approach would work really well. Let me know if you need any testing or whatnot, no trade!
